1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how WBSync Ltd (CRO no. 817394, registered office Irishtown, Ardee, Co. Louth, Ireland) uses cookies and similar technologies on the WBSync marketing site (wb-sync.com) and application (app.wb-sync.com). It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

Under the Irish ePrivacy Regulations (S.I. 336/2011) and GDPR, we set non-essential cookies only with your consent. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. At present we set only strictly necessary cookies and store a small number of interface preferences in your browser's local storage. We do not use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies, so we do not show a cookie-consent banner. If that ever changes, we will introduce a consent mechanism and update this policy before any non-essential cookie is set.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage (the app uses it to remember preferences and to support offline use of the mobile PWA). We refer to all of these as "cookies" below.

3. Categories we use

Strictly necessary (always on). Required to run the Service — you cannot turn these off through the Service. They include your login session and security/anti-forgery (CSRF) tokens, and local storage used by the app and its offline service worker.

Functional (preferences). A small amount of browser local storage remembers your own interface choices (for example light/dark theme and table/filter layout). These are set as a result of choices you make in the Service, contain no tracking identifiers, and are stored only in your browser. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings.

We do not use advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share any data collected via cookies.

We do not currently set any analytics or advertising cookies. If we add an analytics provider in future, we will list it here and obtain consent first.

5. Managing your choices

Because we set only strictly necessary cookies and store preferences locally, there is nothing non-essential to accept or reject today. You can always control cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings; note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the Service from working. If we introduce non-essential cookies, you will be able to accept or reject them via a cookie banner / preferences control and change your choice at any time.

We will update this policy when our cookie use changes and re-confirm consent where required. The current version, with its effective date, is on this page.
