Operative packs: add capacity mid-cycle

3 min read · Updated 3 Jun 2026

Every plan includes a cap on active operatives. When a project scales past it, add an operative pack from the billing page — extra capacity, prorated to your billing date, with the exact charge previewed before you confirm.

When you need one

Your tier sets how many active operatives you can track. Win a big package and need more headroom mid-month? You don't have to jump a whole tier — top up with a pack instead. Packs are available on Field, Team, Pro and Business. (Enterprise limits are custom — talk to sales.)

Plan cap included with your tier + Operative pack prorated extras = More headroom no tier jump

Add a pack

1
Go to Settings → Billing

You need the manage billing permission (Owners have it by default). Open the operative-pack control and set the number of extra operatives you want.

2
Preview the charge

Before anything is charged, WBSync shows the prorated amount for the rest of your current cycle. If you're already paying, the difference is invoiced immediately; if you're still on trial, the pack is added to your first checkout.

3
Confirm

That's it — your cap lifts right away. Need fewer later? Lower the count and the change is prorated back the same way.

WBSync warns you as you approach your cap and again when you hit it, so a pack is a deliberate choice — you're never silently blocked from logging the crew.
Stripe is always the source of truth for the final figure. The in-app preview is computed the same way Stripe bills, so the two match — but your invoice is the record.

Frequently asked

Which plans can buy operative packs?

Field, Team, Pro and Business. Enterprise operative limits are custom, so packs there are arranged with sales rather than self-served.

How is a pack priced?

As extra active-operative capacity on top of your plan, prorated to the rest of your current billing cycle. The exact charge is previewed before you confirm, and Stripe is the source of truth for the final figure.

Can I remove a pack later?

Yes. Lower the count whenever you like and the change is prorated back the same way it was added.

Will I be blocked from logging hours if I hit my cap?

WBSync warns you as you approach the cap and again when you reach it, so adding a pack is a deliberate choice rather than a surprise block.
